Michael J. “Mick” McGirr is an associate with Maxwell & Morgan, P.C. Prior to joining Maxwell & Morgan, Mr. McGirr worked for a regional firm for over three years where the focus of his practice was commercial litigation. He also advised clients on many issues relating to creditors’ rights and post-judgment enforcement. From 2011 through 2015, Mr. McGirr served on the board of the Phoenix Chapter of the Credit and Financial Development Division of the National Association of Credit Managers. Through his affiliations with CFDD, NACM, and other groups, Mr. McGirr has presented to audiences small and large on the legal issues surrounding the credit, finance, and collections industries. Prior to graduating from law school in 2011, Mr. McGirr clerked with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in the Gang/Repeat Offender Group.
Mr. McGirr received a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University – Hawaii where he competed as a NCAA Division 2 golfer. Thereafter, Mr. McGirr received his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. During law school, Mr. McGirr was the Vice President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and was selected to participate in the prestigious ‘D.C. Law Students in Court’ clinical learning experience.
Mr. McGirr is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and is fluent in Dutch.
